At Ergonomics in Practice we believe
that professionalism and informality can blend to provide both a friendly
and efficient service for our clients. We strive to be ethical in all our
business relationships and this means several things:
-
We will never promise to do something that we cannot deliver.
-
We will tell you honestly whether or not we can help you. If we cannot,
we will try to give you another contact who can.
-
We will describe accurately, given the information you give us, the likely
benefit you will receive from working with us.
-
We will tell you what input will be required from you and your staff to
make a project successful.
-
We will not try to "package" your project so that it fits a standard solution
- we treat all projects as individual challenges.
-
We will be honest about how long we think a job will take - this means
neither underquoting or overquoting on time.

|
 |
We promise you our enthusiasm and commitment
to your project, and an excellent, friendly service. We believe that the
business approach we described above means that our clients get excellent
value for money and an appropriate solution to their problem. |

What to do now... |
|
|
 |
If you think we might be able to help with your
project or problem, the first thing to do is give us a call (or
send
us an email). We are always happy to chat things over. We will
assess whether we are likely to be able to offer you a solution, and if
necessary, arrange a meeting with you to discuss the issue further. This
meeting will usually be at your own site and free of charge. |
|
|
 |
Following our initial discussions, if we agree
that Ergonomics in Practice is suitable to tackle the project, we will
send you a written proposal for the work. This will include a description
of your problem, our suggested approach for tackling it, the time we expect
to spend on the project and the estimated cost. We are always willing to
discuss and revise the details in the proposal so that the approach fits
your requirements exactly. If you decide to go ahead we will arrange a
start date, and ask you to sign our terms and conditions. Once this is
agreed any time we spend on the project will be charged to you, but if
we have agreed a fixed price for the work, we will keep to this (unless
the project content or scope subsequently changes). |
